Loopie

Loopie passed away this morning at around 11:30 am. She's been sickly for the past few weeks but is slowly recovering. I was so shocked by the news that she died. It was so sudden. I couldn't stop crying. Para kong namatayan ng tao. I also feel guilty because I didn't get to say goodbye to her this morning before I left for work, which I usually do. I always say bye Loopie! Now there's no dog to say goodbye to in the morning as I open the gate :( :(:( Now I only have Mark and Chin2. I hope they'll stay healthy.

It's not unusual that some dogs die of heart attack. I think that's what killed her :( hay...

Brownout

Brownout naman ngayon!

Our town is suffering once more. This time from power outage because the transformer in a power plant somewhere in Taytay caught fire for whatever reason.

Rotating blackouts is being observed now in our town. After typhoons, brownout naman ang problema...hay!

What's happening to us?

I'm trying to be optimistic about it. Now I get to appreciate even more the comfort the electricity brings in our lives. Pero sana they'll be able to fix it na...

Garbage galore!

I wonder where all the accumulated garbage from typhoon Ondoy will be disposed?

Supposing that a single household who suffered from floods will have an average of 5-10 large garbage bags for disposal, where the hell are we gonna put them all? And how many trips should a garbage truck make to collect the trash of all residents in a subdivision or barangay?

And as I'm writing this, another typhoon "Pepeng" is already wreaking havoc in Pinas :( I hope it's not gonna be as bad as Ondoy even if they say that Pepeng has a high chance of becoming a super typhoon.
